David Cerrone

Rochester Skylights LLC is operated by David R. Cerrone, CR. “CR” stands for Certified Remodeler, the National Association of Remodeling Industry’s (N.A.R.I.) designation for professionalism. The Fitch family has been in business in the Rochester area for over four generations, starting with David’s great, great grandfather, through Fitch Construction, Inc.

As a dynamic group of craftsmen and support staff, the Fitch team is committed to providing outstanding quality products and customer service. Fitch Construction is a VELUX 5-Star Skylight Specialist. What this means to you as either a homeowner or contractor is:

Matthew Brodman

VELUX Specialist, Skylight Specialist, Service Manager

Matthew has been with Fitch Construction Inc. since the beginning of its growth in 1996, starting as a carpenter working up through the ranks to current position as service manager. He has an Associate’s degree in Building Trade from Alfred State College. Trained & certified through the following training: Velux 5-Star Skylight Specialist; Velux Solutions installation; Andersen Dealer Service Network; Installation Master for window & doors; and Lead Renovator

Paul Benedek

Production Manager

Since 2000 Paul has been a hardworking and diligent team member to the Fitch Construction family. He began working in the production field constructing project designs and later moved into the Production Manager position. Paul has seen it all from building full mansions in Aspen to remodeling a simple bathroom. His wide range of experience helps him work through any issue he may be faced with and with scheduling the day to day tasks.

Paul’s roles vary from ordering job materials, organizing the manpower, solving issues, planning project layout, and is always in constant contact with the customer. Furthermore, Paul has several training and certifications that help him excel, some include OSHA Training, Lead Certification, Gastite Certification, and Fork Lift Safety Training.

Most of all Paul enjoys seeing a project from start to finish. Being able to see the difference we can make in a customer’s home with hard work and dedication. Outside of Fitch Paul enjoys working on his own home projects as well as boating, skiing, and camping. Most of all Paul enjoys spending time with his family.

Jesse Paige

Operations Manager

Jesse is our Operations Manager and has been with the company since 2016. Her past job experiences as an Insurance Agent and Office Manager for a local Plumbing company have given her a precise understanding to not only connect with our customers but the Fitch employees as well. Furthermore, her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering has provided her with an outstanding work ethic to not only complete each task that is laid before her but to the greatest of her ability.

What Jesse enjoys most about her job is all the variety, whether she is working with employees, accounting matters, or speaking with clients about their Fitch Construction experiences. Outside of Fitch, Jesse enjoys spending her spare time outdoors hiking, hunting, visiting any of the finger lakes, and spending time with her family.

Scott Joseph

Marketing Manager

 Scott started at Fitch in 2020 after over 20 years as Marketing Director for a Rochester auto dealer group. Prior to that Scott worked as an advertising sales associate for the Democrat and Chronicle calling on local and national accounts. Scott brings a varied background to Fitch creating marketing campaigns for TV, radio, newspaper, direct mail, website, digital marketing as well as media buying, copywriting, graphic design, public relations, and budgeting.

 What Scott likes most about Fitch Construction are the challenges of marketing to a variety of different types of customers with the many projects the company offers.

 Outside of Fitch, Scott likes spending time with his wife and their golden retriever, weekend getaways to their cottage, walking, playing golf, and doing graphic design work.

 

Karen Arnold

Production Coordinator

Karen joined Fitch in 2019 and her responsibilities as Production Coordinator include assisting with building permits, ordering materials, scheduling & communicating with customers. She loves helping homeowners improve their homes with their remodeling projects, adding sunrooms, decks or skylights. Karen believes the best parts of the job are hearing how much customers love their remodels and knowing that we all work as a team to make it all happen.

Outside of Fitch, Karen enjoys motorcycle riding with her husband & friends, spending time with her family and 3 dogs including fostering rescue dogs.

 

Dan Leone

Sales Associate

Dan Leone has been a sales associate for Fitch since March of 2019. As a Rochester native, prior to that he had backgrounds in construction and sales and had his own painting company in Vermont. Dan loves the variety of sales options for his customers, from sunrooms, skylights decks and additions to kitchens and basements, there is always something for someone. He enjoys the fast and often challenging pace of the home improvement business.

 When Dan is not working, he enjoys spending time with his teenage kids, playing and watching soccer, and working on his yard.

Jennifer Alarcon

Event Coordinator

Jennifer started with the Fitch Construction Family in January of 2020 as a Showtime Manager and has also taken on the role of responding to customer inquiries. Her past job experience working in a variety of office settings has given her the ability to understand and connect with our customers. Jennifer enjoys the fast-paced nature of her job and interacting with customers daily.

 In Jennifer’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs being outdoors taking hikes and, also kayaking and spending time with her family.

 

Brian Kogler

Production Manager 

Brian is the newest Fitch employee and with nearly 30 years of experience, we welcome Brian as a second Production Manager to help oversee all divisions of operations. Brian’s background will be a great fit for ordering job materials, organizing the manpower, solving issues, planning project layout, and staying in contact with the customers.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his 2 daughters, camping in the Adirondacks, and playing volleyball.

Tom Hebrock

Sales | Design

Tom was a welcome addition in 2021 with a background made for the Fitch team. His experience in home improvement from windows & doors to deck design as well as a variety of sales, customer service, and call center training for manufacturer programs will make for an easy transition to our business. Tom has been a Monroe County resident since the mid-’80s and attended SUNY Geneseo. He was drawn to Fitch because of our solid reputation, quality, and professional work. When Tom isn’t working he enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with his teenage son.

Amanda Comanse

Sola Production Coordinator

Amanda started at Fitch in 2020 as a Production Coordinator. What she enjoys the most is how we are able to take an idea that a homeowner has and turn it into a reality for them. She also loves the team atmosphere at Fitch. Her role at Fitch is to manage our sunroom, outdoor living, and addition projects by facilitating permitting, establishing project supply needs, assisting the project manager in scheduling crews for the build, scheduling inspections, and maintaining customer contact throughout the projects. Amanda moved to Rochester from Colorado, enjoys making furniture, horseback riding, hiking, wine tours, and renovating her new farmhouse. She also is in school for Architecture.

Kat Kapla

Appointment CTR Rep

Kat came to Fitch in 2021 after moving to Rochester from the west coast. There she worked in a variety of customer service positions for over 6 years including being the liaison for the president at her company. Kat enjoys working directly with customers and the team involvement that takes place on all projects. What drew her to Fitch was the close, family environment here. When Kat is not working she enjoys hiking with her dogs.

Nick Laury

Recruiter

Nick started at Fitch in 2020 after graduating from RIT with a BA in Communications and minor in English/Literature and immersion in Legal Studies. His responsibilities are to search, screen, and interview worthy candidates to join the growing Fitch team for all departments- from sales and customer service to carpenters, sub-contractors, and managers. Nick has enjoyed the opportunities to develop his skills of engaging with new people, helping their careers evolve while they support their families. In his spare time, Nick likes to hang out with his friends, his girlfriend, and his dogs and enjoys reading and writing.
